International Legacy Program: Oxford

What Is the International Legacy Program?

The International Legacy Program (ILP) is an internationally interactive program designed to encourage students from the United States of America to expand their understanding of the rest of the world and its various peoples, cultures, and belief systems.  By exposing these young American minds to the diversity of other cultural viewpoints, they will be better equipped to deal with others domestically and become more responsible and contributing citizens globally.  Effectively dealing with others is the most important trait of successful people.  The ILP breeds success through diversity education.

What About Oxford?

Oxford, United Kingdom, is the first of many destinations for the ILP.  Chris Rosson, an alumnus of Englewood Christian Academy, currently studying Business Administration, Economics, and Entrepreneurial Leadership at William Jewell College will be traveling to England to take part in honors tutorials with professors from Oxford University on the following topics:  Israeli-Palestinian Relations, Britain and the European Union, C.S. Lewis, and Winston Churchill.  Chris will interact internationally with the students of his former school through this website in order to broaden their scope of this world.
